  2. *sigh* Why does "development" have to involve the destruction of previous architectural creations that generations have loved?
    Is it small-architect-syndrome..."I'll never measure up to that so I'll tear it down so no one can compare my mediocre performance with it" ?

  3. Trends come and trends go, and in the process the classic and the timeless are destroyed, generally in the name of 'improvement' and 'modernisation'. We learn from what little history we have left, that we do not learn from history.
